Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Director of Nursing to lead and manage the clinical services function at a highly rated health center. As Director of Nursing, your leadership will drive overall quality clinical outcomes, customer service, employee relations, and retaining talented team members. You will be responsible to ensure that established clinical systems are implemented and maintained and strive to create a working environment wherein staff is supported and recognized for their efforts to provide quality care to our residents. Building positive relationships with both staff and residents is a must.
The ideal candidate must be a skilled communicator and a team motivator. Productive time management, excellent customer service, and a willingness to teach and learn is a must. A proactive approach is necessary in order to be successful in this role.
Highlights:
- Annual base salary earning potential up to $110,000 with semi-annual bonus program
- Eligible for benefits after 30 days
- Clinical support team includes an Assistant DON and 2 Unit Managers

License & Certification:
- Valid Virginia RN license
Education, Training & Experience:
- 5 years Director of Nursing leadership experience in skilled nursing / long-term care
- A team player, who is clinically sound, and has a strong desire to make a difference daily
- A good communicator, who has the ability to lead with a calming presence
- A positive, can-do-attitude, cultivating an atmosphere of teamwork, growth, and development
- Passionate about creating a supportive culture, while fostering solid relationships with staff, families, and the community
